Lee Anne Womack
Edwardian Mystery Author
Do you enjoy walking through historical places, drooling over ancient ruins, or gaping at impressive monuments? Do you ever wonder about the people who walked this road before you? Maybe your interest lies in the fantastic tales born out of past hardships. Welcome to Lee Anne Womack’s official author website where history lives again and again, escpecially through Christian Edwardian mysteries.
Lee Anne grew up with a deep fascination of all things historical. She spends her free time learning how earlier generations fought through life, sometimes for good and sometimes not. Then she weaves these accounts into her own mystery stories. Characters come to life, facing issues similar to those Lee Anne sees in the world around her. In recent years, the Edwardian era really captured her attention, and she’s been exploring the people who influenced the world before and during the Great War. Many of these people wrote prolifically, and their words provide for a great deal of character building.
Lee Anne’s love for the Lord stems from generations before her who sought His face dilligently. She spent years watching her parents and grandparents love God, and at 8 years old made her personal profession of faith. Each story that she develops has characters struggling with problems that Christians face today, and these characters learn to submit to the Lord despite their circumstances. Every story is written to honor God and point you to Him. Let your imagination flow while you’re vicariously feeling the relief and joy of living for Jesus.

Tidbits of Edwardian History
The Edwardian Era broadly covers 1901-1919, from the beginning of King Edward VII’s reign through the end of the Great War’s decade. It’s packed with intrigue between European powers, generational destruction across the globe, and a pandemic flu. Intermingled in these global issues were day-to-day events for every day people. Their activities might not have impacted as many lives, but their stories are fascinating because these people were just like us. Their lives fill the tidbits of Edwardian history that popular textbooks often missed. While these textbooks focused on the big-picture things, ordinary people passed along their stories to their children and grandchildren. Learning about the global impact of events and the personal impact on individual families opens my eyes to the real lives of the people who lived during this time. Join me in discovering how this era impacted generations from then to now.
