Tidbits of Edwardian History

The Edwardian Era broadly covers 1901-1919, from the beginning of King Edward VII’s reign through the end of the Great War’s decade. It’s packed with intrigue between European powers, generational destruction across the globe, and a pandemic flu. Intermingled in these global issues were day-to-day events for every day people. Their activities might not have impacted as many lives, but their stories are fascinating because these people were just like us. Their lives fill the tidbits of Edwardian history that popular textbooks often missed. While these textbooks focused on the big-picture things, ordinary people passed along their stories to their children and grandchildren.
